Hello New Friends !! We are very excited to have the opportunity to learn more about you! We live in Salisbury, Maryland-USA. Maryland is one of 3 states that make up what's called the Delmarva Peninsula. We are surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. If you look on the map below, the state of Maryland is highlighted in green and our city, Salisbury, is the yellow dot. The second map shows just the peninsula and Salisbury is circled in green.
If we travel about 100 miles to the west, we can visit Washington, DC, which is the capital of the United States. Washington, DC is where our President (President Bush) lives in the White House.
If we travel about 30 miles to the east we can visit Ocean City, Maryland where there is a beautiful beach located along the Atlantic Ocean.
We are in 6th grade at Wicomico Middle School. Our school has grades 6-8 and has about 725 students.
We are across the street from the Salisbury Zoological Park which has a beautiful park and a Zoo!
We go to school from 8:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon and take 6 different classes each day including Math, Reading, Science and History.
